This is a minor release of EDB Postgres Extended Server 18. This release contains a variety of improvements over PostgreSQL 18.2. For more information about new features in the core 18.3 release, see Section E.7.

E.1.1. Migration #

A dump/restore using pg_dumpall is required for those wishing to migrate data from any previous community PostgreSQL release.

E.1.2. Changes #

  • Includes all changes up to version 18.3 of the community PostgreSQL code base.

  • Includes all changes up to 2ndQuadrant Postgres version 18.2.0.
