This is the first release of EDB Postgres Extended Server 17. This release contains a variety of improvements over PostgreSQL 17.8. For more information about new features in the core 16 release, see Section E.17.
A dump/restore using pg_dumpall is required for those wishing to migrate data from any previous community PostgreSQL release.
Includes all changes up to version 17.8 of the community PostgreSQL code base.
Includes all changes up to EDB Postgres Extended Server version 17.7.0.
